I recently took my car to Cottman Transmission to get a transmission fluid and filter change. Along with it they completed a 21 point inspection. I was told by Steve Jasper that there was something wrong with my transmission.

He said he didnt know what was wrong with it, so he would have to drop it out of my car, take it apart, and find out what the problem is. Keep in mind I have a 99 Chevy Cavalier.

He told me that it was going to cost $1350.00 to drop my transmission and that didnt include fixing what was wrong with it. He recommended that I didnt drive the car. I found it hard to believe so I took it to a few other places. Come to find out there was NOTHING wrong with my transmission.

The only thing wrong with my car was a $12 sensor. Steve Jasper saw a young woman and thought that he could take advantage of her. I wrote a letter to Cottman and got a response back from a Carlos. He said that there would be an investigation done. Well that was about 2 months ago and I have heard nothing. Imagine that! My advice to Consumers and to WOMEN, NEVER take your car to Cottman Transmission.
