I have spoke with a Lisa Watson several times about the problem I have been having with my Alero. I have spent over 2-thosand dollars in inspection repairs and the problem still occurs. I understand its hard to pin point this problem however it is a problem I went to a web site about the same start up problem people are having with their 2002 Oldsmobile Alero.
On this site several people have found a 15-minute solution to get the car to start. 10 mins on off then turn car in the start postion but not actually starting it and then 10 min on the off position, this is performed for a 1/2 an hour.

This is crazy GM will do nothing to fix this problem. The site above is where there has been complaints.
