Replacement after replacement, after replacement

I bought a replacement transmission through advanced auto parts in november. The transmission was for a 99 wrangler and came from accurate transmission. The transmission only ran for one day before it started messing up. It quit shifting into first at stop signs and it would not disengage the torque converter at high speeds. After three months, the tranny fluid was burnt. Changed the fluid and again it was burnt in another month.

After almost a year the company was called and warrantied a second transmission. Advanced auto parts was excellent with their end of the service and warranty, but accurate took 6 weeks before a replacement came. This new replacement was put in at the end of 2007 and has already burnt the fluid to a dark black color and was leaking from the moment it was installed. Accurate informed us to "plug" the weep hole with a screw and use thread lock on another leaking bolt from the tail housing to the transmission. That stopped the leak, but caused the transmission to fail, yet again, not shifting into low at stop signs and slipping on hills. Also the transmission is trying to go forward while sitting at a stop light like either the torque converter is trying to engage or the clutch is slipping.

If the third transmission from them is also a flawed product, i will take it to a local company nearby that rebuilds transmissions and does very well work. Possibly a lawsuit will be filed if the next one is junk as well.
