100,000 mile Warranty is a RIP OFF Melbourne

I have a 2004 Kia Rio that the Motor just stoped running one day we have taken the Vehicle to Bob Dance Kia in Melborune and as many other folks have found the timing belt has striiped its teeth, we have taken this vehicle in for regular oil and service to a local ASE certifed mechanic at walmart supercenter for regular oils changes and service and have nmaintained the car well. When the car was sold to us at no time did the Dealer in West Palm Beach tell us that we needed to change the timing belt at 40,000 miles as a matter of fact the harped on the depenadabilty of the car an 100,000 mile warranty they did not point out the Fine print in the owners manual about this issue and as I read all of the complaints I belive they Know that there timing belts are grabage. It is not unusual to expect to get 100,000 miles out of a timimg belt I have owned many cars where I have gotten that many miles and more. A part as criticle as this should have been warrantied with the rest of the motor and Drive train especially since its failure can cause such critical damage to all the other components in the car Kia knows that this is an issue with their automobile and continues to ignore all of the complaints about these failures Bob Dance KIA quoted me 6,000 dollars for a brand new motor and then would only warranty that motor for 12,000 miles what the Hello is wrong with these people Shame on Kia Motors and shame on Bob Dance Kia that sells the product and continues to rip people off RUN form KIA products that is my advise
