Auto Not Refunding Money From Defective ATV Purchuse

We had purchased seven ATV from this store at christmas time and had problems with the 2 small ones (49 cc) Baja had told us to return them to the store they would issue RGA number for the return. We had contacted Mark the store manager and he stated that he had to wait for a check from corp office that should only take a week or two this date was Feb 13 the number had been issued to them from Baja.

We had waited about 2 1/2 weeks and called Mark and he at that point stated the the check was going out on friday over nighted to him we waited till monday and he said he emailed corp and they told him that they are behind and did not know when the check would be mailed now. I had asked Mark why Tampa had the policy of being able to refund cash even for large amounts of money and we had to wait for a check? He said because they do not take in large amounts of cash, I then asked if we could return one at a time and he first said yes to call back at the end of the day, which i did and he then stated he did not take in enough money that day.

I find that hard to believe he did not take in $600.00. I had been given the number for corp and of course you can not talk to anyone you have to know a name and leave a message which no one ever calls back the other number for 800-pep-boys goes to a India and no one there will forward to corp I was told to give complaint to them they will e-mail complaint and someone will contact you with in 24 hours 3 days later still waiting.

I Emailed Better Business I am still waiting for return call from them. I find pep boys to be a ripe off POOR BUSINESS
