Nu Star Motors
Sold me a car that 6 days later overheated and broke down! Refused to do anything!

We purchased a minivan from Nu Star Motors. We drove it once and then went to drive it again (6 days after we bought it) and less than a mile from our house it overheated and was smoking and fluid was everywhere.

I and spoke with Jeremy who said that he had no power to do anything but if it was up to him, he would take care of it. Of course, this is after I called, then went down there to talk to him face to face. Then had to call 3 more times the next day. He told me he had to talk to Larry, the sales manager. But Larry could not be bothered to call me back, he was busy ripping off other customers.

Jeremy told me that because we did not purchase a warranty, there was nothing he could do, but he would have Larry call me in the morning. I already know how this will end, the writing is on the wall. They can't even be bothered to call me to schedule to fix the few things that are on the due bill that they promised to fix when we bought it. Why would they fix this.

What it boils down to is that the car was NEVER inspected after it was purchased from the auction or whereever they got it. Their slogan is "THat's no bull, you buy it we back it". That is clearly a load of crap.

The personal affect it has on me is enormous. We cannot afford to take this van to get serviced, we are living paycheck to paycheck as it is. So we are left to make carpayments on a car that does not work, and we can't afford to fix it. And Nu Star motors thinks there is nothing wrong with this.

Please do not purchase from them. There are much more reputable dealers out there that will do right by their customers.
