I bought a car at Ray Skillman Kia. When it had been in for the 5th repair ticket, (the lemon law requires only 4) we started yelling lemon law. When you do that the dealership goes deaf, dumb & blind. From that point on they hear no evil speak no evil and recognise no evil. They turned there backs on us. All I got from that point on was its out of our hands... You have to talk to Kia. Kia does not want to talk either. We have already filed with BBB and had our arbitration hearing. Waiting on decision. The really bad part of all this is... Even if we get the car declaired a lemon, they will "title wash" and it will be in another consumers hands in no time. Contact NHSTA. Gov, safecar.org and enter all the info you can about your car. This will be looked at nation wide. Get yourself a consumer action handbook, free of charge at www.ConsumerAction. Gov. Arm yourself with anything you can. File complaints with Attorney General and BBB Auto Line. Do business by certified letters only. Don't talk to them on the phone. If they mean it, they will but it in writing. You will have nothing to go to arbitration except he said she said if you talk on the phone to negotiate. Don't do it. It is how we are comming out ahead in this. They will use any tactic to get you on the phone. They will send letters telling you they can't reach you due to incorrect phone number and please call. Dont do it... It is a trap. Pay attention to they red flags. We did. Don't give up. They make it so frustrating that you want to give up, but don't. And go public. Make your info known.
