I dropped my 2001 Jeep Wrangler off at Eagle Transmissions in Plano, Texas off of Coit Road on November 17th. The manager Todd McDonald told me to save up from $900-$1600. After a transmission rebuild and new clutch it came out around $2600. I told him I do not own a credit card and have $1300 cash so I will have to make payments. I then made about 3 other payments before I paid the services off.
I drove it out of the parking lot on the way to work (late) and it drove worse than before. I called him and he told me to bring it in. I had to leave town right away and my hours with work did not work out with their hours, so I brought it back when I came back from out of town. You think that I would be top on the list to get my vehicle back but it is the 3rd of January and I still do not have my vehicle. It has been 3 holidays without my main way of transportation and being filled full of excuses.
I have drove by a numerous amounts of times and my Jeep has been behind the shop. Todd says it is being worked on out there but I never have saw a mechanic in the 30-40 degree weather out there. I tried to contact my bank and they said it was paid off they cant do anything, but my bankers brother had a similar experience and has been arguing with them for 1 1/2 years.
