WIWI Automatic Transmissions Elio Diaz, Et Al. Automotive Transmission Scam - Beware!

This is a few years old but first of all I just came across your site which is an extremely helpful resource to the public - helping people avoid being ripped off.

I went to the aforementioned transmission shop for problems with my Cadillac transmission and left with the same problems. I was asked to take the car back (it's a 120 mile round trip for me each time, so I drove 600 miles thus far in having to go back and fourth to make "adjustments"! Each so called adjustments resulted in different issues, from it not shifting at all, to not sifting at the correct speeds, to not downshifting and slipping.

Needles to say, after that I gave up! I can't prove this but I really don't think they did anything but charge me. Again, it's been a a few years - perhaps 3 or 4, so their warranty has expired - a warranty which was useless anyway and I don't drive the car very much.

When I went to WIWI Automatic Transmissions my car would thump when going from 1st to 2nd gear, and it would periodically slip, especially when reducing speed by coasting and not using the breaks - then accelerating; at that point it would totally slip and only go into gear when I let go of the accelerator and then gently try again.

Many years ago - back in the early 90's they replaced a transmission on an older rear wheel drive Cadillac Fleetwood and did am outstanding job. They even had the car in and out the same day! That's the only reason I went back with this other Cadillac.

They either lost interest in their work, or are cutting corners, or whatever, but one thing for sure: Beware of WIWI Automatic Transmissions, Inc.in Miami. They have 2 locations, and I am not going back!!!
