LAX Park Place
Inc. LAX Park Place is a horrible place to leave your car!

This place is inexpensive, however, there are sacrifices for the cost. First of all, if you are running at all late getting to your flight, park somewhere else. Their shuttle to the airport leaves every 15 minutes. If you are the only one waiting, and there isn't anyone heading to the door, the driver will stare at you until the quarter hour regardless of how pressed for time you are. When you return to LAX, you'll have to call and wait forever for the shuttle as bus after bus for other parking lots are passing right by you.

For some reason, I had decided to have my oil changed there during my last trip. When I drove home from LAX Park Place, my oil pressure light came on while I was driving on the 405 about ten minutes after pulling out of their lot. I had to pull over (on the very dangerous 405 freeway). To make a long story short, the managment at LA Park Place had absolutely no accountability for thier work when I called them immediately to make them aware of the situation (the man claiming to be 'manager', Edson, wouldn't even provide me his last name when I explained my problem nor would he give me the name of the owner or the ownership corporation.) I provided them a very nice car that had no oil leak prior to their work and they returned to me a car with an oil leak that now needs significant repair. Secondly, I wasn't even informed that they even noticed an oil leak on my car when I picked it up. They only mentioned that during my second call to their facility when I spoke to Edson. I asked Edsonto have my car repaired - he refused unless I could prove they damaged it. I asked for a refund for the cost of the oil change - he refused it because they said they changed the oil and they aren't responsible for what happens after that!

My advice is to fork over the extra few dollars a day to park somewhere that is friendly, professional, and easy to work with - do NOT park at LA Park Place, Inc.!!!
