Nu Star Repair Company has "no certified mechanics"! / Folsom

In case you are thinking of purchasing your next car, truck, or suv from Nu Star Motors... Better think again! Here are some facts about the company,

1. The so called shop forman (Carl Ryan) has no ASE certificate what so ever, neither does the rest of the "so called techs" that work there. But at least one of them (Bill Cox) knows what he is doing but isn't allowed to do so!

2. The so called shop forman, aka the Head Mechanic, doesn't even know how to use Alldata which is of vital importance to any repair shop! Once again, Mr Cox does but is unable to do his job thanks to Mr Ryan.

3. Nu Star owner Jim Gilfillan pushes quanity not quality! He doesn't care about you, just your money!

4. To the best of my knowledge, I thought it was BAR standard that any repair shop licenced in the state of california required that it had an ASE Certified Master Tech heading it's staff! That is what I was told in applying for a small business license for a repair shop by a BAR representive!

5. Do not believe your Car Fax! It is up to the body shops / insurance company to report the accidents and unless the car was totalled and salvaged, they are not going to waste their time with extra reports. It takes away from their coffee time, so to speak! When buying a used car, always have it checked out by a repair shop that you trust. Not one of theirs, and have a Autobody repair shop look it over also. Remember, it is your money!

6. Most important, do yourself a favor, Do Not Buy A Vehicle From Nu Star Motors! You will regret it, and that's no bull!
