Did not allow return of dirt bike purchased less than 48 hrs ago

I purchased a new dirt bike from this dealer on Thursday evening. I wanted to return the purchase on Saturday afternoon after I saw a similar item on sale somewhere else for $425 less. The dealer would not allow me to return the item, even though it had been less than two days and the dirt bike had never been ridden. He tried to say it was a special order item, but I did not special order. He had told me he would soon order some bikes and would get whatever color I wanted. I did not sign a preorder agreement or contract and did not give him a deposit. His sales slip said nothing about all sales final or no returns. This guy took $400 more than needed from a mother of three children trying to make her 11th year old son's birthday something special. There is no reason that he could not resell the dirt bike for full price, and he even sells dirt bikes and ATVs in his shop.
