Beware of this company

This company is no longer paying claims although their web site is still active and they appear to be selling extended warranties.

In mid August, I filed a claim on an extended warranty I had purchased for $2600 from Car Warranties Direct LLC. It was a covered repair and they authorized payment. However, when the repair facility called Car Warranties Direct LLC for payment, no one would answer the phone or return calls. After 10 days of no reposne from Car Warranties Direct LLC, I had to pay the repair facility out of my own pocket.

Car Warranties Direct LLC agreed to reimburse me and said that I would receive a check in about 15 days. It's almost November and I haven't received a check and now, no one is answering the phone at Car Warranties Direct LLC.

I filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau who indicated that they have had numerous recent complaints against Car Warranties Direct LLC and also have had no sucess in contacting Car Warranties Direct LLC and said they were now under investigation by the Ohio State Attorney Generals Office.
