AKA Trilegient Corporation Auto Vantage - tough luck sucker!

You don't have to look very hard to find a complaint about Auto Vantage aka Trilegient Corp. The scam is this: you get a check in the mail for some trivial amount, sign the back and you're enrolled! They have your address, credit card number and other personal information because your rental car company GAVE it to them.

So what do you get? In my case, absolutely nothing. No mail, no notice of any sort. I found a charge for $99.99 on my credit card statement and called to get a refund. They pointed out that I had been a member for 3 YEARS. Checked my statements. Yep, ya got me. How about a refund? 2 years, yes. But the first year, no. Why not the first year?"You should have known", was their response. Hmmmm.

I never received any mail. "Well, we sent intro documents to your address but they were sent back undeliverable" Seems to support the fact that I never got any mail, right?"You should have known..."

When you call customer service, you get a representative that has likely never even seen the United States. If you insist on a supervisor you get a person that can speak reasonable English. If you further insist on and "Executive Supervisor" you get a person that will just argue with you. If you ask for that person's supervisor, they give you Christin's number in the legal department.
