99 Honda Accord, July '03 nightmare started in charged me $540.00 to fully redo my brake system. Replaced/repaired everything why, don't know, I was recently divorced and knew nothing about the brake system. New pads, rotor drum, calipers, him kit, return springs, bearing pack, etc. Oct '03, pads were destroyed! They said they were a bad shipment, replaced them. March '04, brakes were sounding like metal rubbing, back in "warranty" work on my rotors. Oct '04, back in! Disc pads were bad, rotors again needed work, disc hardware, charge $64.00. Acceptable charge I thought due to them being "life time pads"... Yep, exactly, life time headache!

March '05, my pedal was hitting the floor, said nothing was wrong, flushed and bleed the brakes. MMM, pedal was fixed, not hitting the floor... Feb '06 back in for a mere $364 more dollars, redid again pads, rotors, calipers, disc hardware, etc. Now I'm voicing my opinion to the "same store manager handling me for the last couple years".. He's not sure why I've been in so much, will make note, wanted me to bring it in for "regular inspections" so nothing major again happens... Did that for a while, wow, made it to Sept 07, after I missed 2 "inspections for things were going good"... Back in we go, gee do I need to have a apt added on so they can look at my car daily?

Anyway, this round, they wanted yet another $570. To ep you guessed it, redo everything they have already done the last couple years. Gee at this payment of $300 - $500 per average year on brake repairs, I should be in the race car business. Needless to say, after they blow out my caliper showing me what it was doing, (he pressed on the brake without the drum on the back wheels), squirting brake fluid everywhere, he snapped the little plastic cover on it, said it was fine, wanted to know if I was going to pay the $570 to fix the car, I looked at him like he was nuts! Got on the phone call Pep Boys up the street and told him to put my car back together that they were not going to take advantage of me again (didn't say it quit this nice..), Pep Boys, looked at it, but since they blew my calipers out, had to replace them, but still walked out paying a mere $170. They said nothing else needed to be done, they are working better then they ever had with Just Brakes. I had in the past sent several others to them, they experienced the same thing, I was just stuck I thought due to the "warranty"... Never again!
