Drivetime
Took car in for repairs but it was never fixed and on my credit as a voluntary repo!

Let's see, where should i begin. I have had three cars through drivetime. The first one was a chrysler cirrus that i had for all of one week before my daughter and i were left broken down on the side of the road. I was moved out of that car into a chevy monte carlo. I had this car for a little over a year when all of a sudden one day it started running hot and smoking and i was stuck on the side of the road. They said i needed a new engine. Along with my car payments i paid $1500.00 for a new engine. Two months later, i find myself on the side of the road again. Yet again they say i need a new engine. When i asked about the warranty, since i had just replaced that, i was told it had already ran out! My choices were to pay another $1500.00 or i could pay $600 to get out of my current loan and into a more "reliable" vehicle. I paid the $600.00 and was given a buick century. I drove this car for two months when all of a sudden i again need to replace the engine. I tell them that i cant afford to keep paying $1500 everytime the car breaks down. They make a deal with me that i can pay $750.00 and the other half would be put on the end of my loan. Now, over the next three months i am told evey week that my car will be fixed next week. They were still getting their payments and already had the $750.00 for repairs. I get a phone call one day that says if i bring them $200.00 more they can guarantee my car will be returned to me by that friday. I borrow the money and take it to them. As soon as i finish making the payment i am pulled into the managers office and told that im behind on my payments and they will not return the car to me until i am caught up... I now have two loans from drivetime showing negatively on my credit report as "voluntary repossessions"!!! I have contacted them and i was told that my loan was sold to credit solutions and they cannot help me! I contacted credit solutions and was told i owe over $10,000.00 on one of the loans, but they will settle for $5000 and that the notes the dealership put on the account were that i had become 61 days past due and dropped the car off at the lot! This company is a complete rip off. If i could post warnings everywhere warning people i would. My credit is ruined because of them
