Cancelled flight waiting month and a half for refund

Reserved 4 seats from poor to Detroit for July 3. Reached airport 2 hours before trip to discover trip was ended. Waited about one hour and was handed 2 choices... Delay 3 times for next trip or get full refund. We plumped for reimbursement for this knee of the trip and maintain return trip so we'dnot need to spend so much for no advance notice. We were compelled to guide on Southwest (exactly what a method greater expertise) at nearly exactly the same amount of cash to get a one of the ways trip once we taken care of R/T, but experienced we'd no option. It is currently been per month 5 and we're still awaiting reimbursement. Immediately after our journey we could delay on-hold for some hours to obtain somebody in California at corporate.
