High pressure to buy, at minimu with easily refundable deposit for 30-day trial Ripoff

These guys are trained to get something on the very first call. If the warranty amount is too high, they'll try to get you to buy using a 30-day "easily refundable" deposit. If you're wary about how easy it might be, they suggest you use a credit card. DON'T FALL FOR IT!

After a long discussion about the benefits of their warranty, the sales guy told me either to buy now to reserve the warranty, or the quoted deal is off the table. They mark you declined it so even if you call back it won't be made available. They say they have this policy so as to protect themselves from dishonest consumers who get a quote and have problems and try to sign up for warranty after problem exists. Also that the policy is forced upon them by the insurance companies underwriting the warranty.

What a crock of BS!

This policy exists only to get your money!

The guy tries very hard to convince you to get the 30-day refundable policy to examine the contract. He said that if I was worried about getting the refund, just charge it and depend on the credit card company to go to bat for me. Imagine that!

I told the guy I was in sales too so I resent this tactic and I can see through what he's trying to do. The more he talked, the more I was put off. They don't want you to look around.

(When I went to the car manufacturer, Acura, I learned that I can get an extended warranty for about $900 less!)

Oh, when the sales guy can't succeed as was my case, then a 'supervisor' steps in to try again. He's going to treat you rudely. DON'T FALL FOR THAT EITHER!

They really will try. Even when I tried to get them off the phone, they continue to persist selling me something I told them I would not buy on the very first phone call.

Based on all the consumer complaintss here about this company, pass them over.
