Ripoff fraud liar shark crook theif criminal!

I was hauling a 26' travel trailer when my transmission went out in Searchlight Nevada. I had just had the transmission rebuilt about 4 months ago in Central Oregon and it came with a 2 year unlimited warranty. The guy who originally rebuilt it in Oregon Brad, gave me the name of a place to take it but they would only warranty the work locally so we found another shop in the Automatic Transmission Service Group (ATSG) that would honor the warranty. Accel Transmissions said they would and we had it towed there. I signed authorization to diagnose the transmission and do a flow check on the radiator only. The service manager, John told me he could fix it and he could get it done by Friday so I could deliver the trailer I was hauling to Tucson. All he had to do was talk to Brad. John told Brad that it would take a $2000 deposit and a copy of the warranty before he would start the work. Brad told him he would come pick up the truck as it would be cheaper to fix it in Oregon.

Monday morning we show up to get the pickup and pay for the diagnosis which is estimated around $600 and John said it would be $2500 CASH to get the pickup as he had done the repairs. This is outrageous! I in no way ever gave any authorization, verbal or written to repair my pickup. I had a warranty from Brad in Oregon and he was coming to get my truck to fix it. I was satisfied with that. This John wouldn't take a check or credit card. He said go to the bank and get me cash. I called the police and they came and said it was a civil matter. My truck is still in Vegas at Accel Transmissions and I have no way to earn a living until I get it back. I have no idea what to do and feel like I have been given more than the shaft. I'm 75 years old and this guy has been doing this for a long time to a lot of innocent people. It is time someone put a stop to him and put him out of business!!
