I went to Wal-Mart one Saturday after the day before I unfortunately ran over a nail flattening my Goodyear front left tire. So, since the tires for my truck are expensive I went to Wal-Mart who says they have the all around best tire prices you can find. I had them give me two front tires, both Douglas for about $50 including balancing. I then went to Firestone to have the tires alligned. After they alligned the tires my truck kept driving right. So, I went back and they alligned it again, later on the same problem so I went back again waiting about 1 1/2 hrs each time. They now said the tires were pulling the car to the left. So, they cross balanced the tires and it is only teetering on a straight driving line now. So, I noticed the tread on Douglas is also in a checker board pattern and not a linear one. So, I will keep these tires because it is all I can afford but I recommend researching or talking to a mechanic before purchasing these tires.
