Is a ripoff

Five months ago I paid a great deal of money to have them replace my fuel filter and fuel pump. Just this last week the fuel pump went bad again. I got the car towed to Auto Analyst thinking that the part would still be under warrany. Come to find out the part was under warranty and fortunately they were going to replace the part for free. The catch was that I was going to have to pay the labor for the repair which was about $225. They tried to say that it was my fault and that a fuel pump goes bad if you run out of gas.

I called many respectable shops and they informed me that this was not possible since I had just replaced the part. I got the repair price down to $125 but Mark from Auto Analyst would not budge from that price even though I had called other shops. Obviously he knows more than every other mechanic in the state of michigan. Because of this I would recommend taking your car to a real mechanic who will actually care about their customers. The bad part is that I have spent 1500 there in the last year. You would think that he could give me a break especially since it must have been a defective part.
