Proof stupid companies exist ripoff

I had been making payments towards my van through these idiots for 3 years, up until last December, our payments had been posted correctly (eventhough I didn't have the account number quite right), then they gave my account to another agent... That's when our account whent haywire, they kept claiming by mail we were behind, when we provided proof otherwise, and when we were trying too strighten it out, none of our calles regarding it being fixed were never returned. Up until we sold our car 2 weeks ago, we are still getting letters that they have not recieved payment, and they claim the dealership we traded the van into did not call for a payoff quote, which I know for a fact they did. I have no idea if our account it strightened out or not yet. These people are brain dead and need to fix thier ability to have anyone in that place work on accounts.
