Trying to rip off a custome

A friend and his parents went to purchase a van. $1,000.00 was put down.
They were told 50.00/week. Van had to go in for a quick final inspection.
Now told that the van is being repaired, but won't tell what is wrong with it.
Note that the van has not been moved from the lot yet. It's been a couple days and still van is not ready nor will they tell them anything about the condition. Request for money back, was told that once down payment is made, it's their money regardless. Excuse me. Now the payment has been increased to $57.00. Also friend told them that he will not be making paymentbecause he hasn't driven it off the lot. But was told, no, that payment is due next week regardless. This will be turned over to the better business bureau and also lemon law willn investigate, if the money is not returned. Heck of a rip off... And they're still open for business??? Wish we knew of this site before hand, we never would of gone there. But you can bet we will make sure this gets out now.
