American Pride Autoride
My car was to be transported by American Pride Autoride and they asked for a deposit of 150.00 and did provide the service

I moved from Florida to California. I called American Pride Autoride to transport my car. On Wed. June 21, I set up an appointment and they took out one hundred fifty dollars from my bank to secure a spot on their transporter. They first said we would call in 7 days to let you know when they would be able to pick up the car.

Afte 7 days, they said they havn't found a truck yet. I said I couldn't wait any longer but wanted my money back. They said I have to wait 11 days before they would give my money back.

I found another carrier and when I called Tuesday July 3,07, they said they sent a truck over and could not refund my money. When I spoke to them before the 11 days, I told them to cancel when 11 days came. They could not of sent a truck over because at that time my phone was disconnected and they could not reach me.

They also said they had a transporter set up on June 28,07, which was not true, because I was there and received no call from them. I have the bank statement showing they took 150.00 which they kept, knowing that calling to early to cancel I couldn't receive my money and saying I called to late, I couldn 't have it back either.

Please help me get my money back. I am not working now and 150.00 is a lot for me. Thank you.
