Harassment when car was not even in my name

My ex boyfriend bought a car and got it financed through CNAC Financing in Mesa. When he bought the car, we were engaged so he put me down as a reference. Within the first 4 months of having the car, he had to take the car in 6 times to get serviced. Each time paying in full, they claimed none of the problems were covered by any type of warranty. Since then, CNAC has repeatedly called me to get payment from him. Everytime they called, I relayed the message and they got paid in full.

Well, my ex and I have since broken up and he told them to take me off as his reference. They didn't. They still call me multiple times a day. I still relay the message for them despite how rude and unprofessional they are. They threatened me, saying they were going to find me and take my car as a repercution. They think they're the mafia apparently.

I called them myself today to confront the issue. I simply let them know that in spite of the fact that we are no longer together, I still pass the message along, but would like to be taken off as a reference and they're lucky that he doesn't sue for the neglect of a car sold to him that was a piece of junk. I got yelled at and hung up on multiple times by the manager. I was never on the lease and had nothing to do with the car. It's sad I want to change my phone number just so they stop harassing me.

If my ex boyfriend didn't pay for his car, it shouldn't be my fault and they shouldn't take it out on me. Like I said, my name is not on the lease, I just happened to be a reference and even helped them when they were being extremely rude to me.
