SHELL After stopping my pump, it jumped up five (5) cents. It charged me five cents more than I got

I was filling up and when I let go of the pump and was putting it back in its little hanger; the pump jumped five (5) cents more. Why? I kept the reciet for further inspection as far as gallons/price is. Thank you for listening.
