Cars & Transport

Within the Past five years my family and I have purchased 4 new Nissans. The first one was a 03 Nissan Z, the 2nd was a 05 Nissan Z the third and fourth are 06 Nissan Titans. Ever since I have purchased the vehicle it has constantly been in the shop for repair work. I had purchased a New $30 thousand Nissan truck for the purpose that it would not give me any trouble. But all this truck has given me is Time lost, money lost and big problems. I just want to get compensated for the extra money that I had to spend.

April 25

While driving to Corpus Christi my car started to loose power and would not go over 55-60 miles per hour and then rapidly falling.

Around 1:30 pm I called Roger from Bankston Nissan of Lewisville and explained the problem that the car was having and he thought that it might be the Fuel Injectors.

Around 3:30 pm I made it to Austin and decided to pull over to the nearest Nissan Dealership, because the Nissan truck was getting worse.

After speaking with Clint Collins (service consultant 512-844-5647) he had explained to me that the trucks catholic convertor had fallen apart and has clogged the exhaust piped and that is why the truck is not going. (5pm)

Since Nissan did not have the part in stock they would need to have it shipped and would not be ready for a couple of days.

6pm had to rent a Truck from Uhaul to make the Delivery to Corpus Christi.

April 26

Around 10am I called Nissan North America (corporate office) and explained the problem with the truck and asked to get reimburse me for the rental and Hotel Fees.

I was told that I would have to wait to get a call back from a Nissan specialist in that department by the name of Clinton.

Mr. Clinton also explained that Nissan North America could not get me into a rental vehicle to get the Trailer and me back to Dallas or to tow the Truck to a Nissan Dealership in Dallas.

Around 4pm I get a call from Clinton from Round Rock Nissan explaining that they can no to anything about reimbursements even though the truck is still under warranty. He went to explained that I should have purchased the extended warranty for the truck when I purchased it.

I finally received my truck around 3pm and started to drive home. I didn't make it more than forty miles outside of RoundRock Texas when the truck started to do the same thing. I had called Roger at Bankston Nissan of Lewisville and explained to him that the truckis having the same problem and that I needed to bring my car in Again for the same Problem. Since April 27th my car has been in shop at Bankston Nissan of Lewisville till May 1st 2007.

Again on June 09 around 1:00 P.M. My Nissan truck has started to reduplicate the problems that had started on April 25. The truck is again loosing power when the RPM gets over 2,500. So not Only have I not gotten reimburse for my money lost due to Nissan's product falling apart but my truck is having the same problems again.

Reimbursements that I Deserve

A1- Reimbursement for Renting an unnecessary UHAUL to take my Delivery to Corpus Christi - $361.44

A2- Reimbursement for having to stay two nights at a hotel - $67.79 and $68.95
