Sold me a car that doesnt run

I bought a 1997 cadillac deville d'elegance from kc auto broker for $4000 cash on 4/26/07. Erik the salesman told me numerous times the car ran perfect and was perfect except we needed to replace the motor to the sunrook and one of the windows.

On the way home from the dealership the car started over heating. We contacted kc the next day to let them know of the problem and they suggested we go to a place call ice cold air and they would pay half the repair cost. We got a new thermostat.

That night i drove it down the block to the gas station and it was up to 250 degrees over heating again. We brought it back to the mechanic and he said there is an oil leak behind the exhaust and distributer cap

That cost another $2000 but the mechanic felt bad cause of the whole situation and took $500 off. So again out of my pocket i paid $1500. We were supposed to get the car back on may 23rd but after problems with some of the workers at the shop not showing up for work he said it would be a couple extra days to be done. When they pulled the motor out of the car they realized the head was cracked on it and it would be an additional charge. For a new head its about $100-200 but the mechanic said we would still have more problems. And said the only way the car will run correctly is if we get a new engine/motor and he knows someone who has one right now for $1250. I'm now drawing the line i will not pay another penny to get this car fixed he told me the car was in great condition so to my knoledge i was signing an as is aggreement to a car that ran good and just had two very mino problems with it. Kc keeps saying they want to help but for the past month have shown no ambition or has dont anything to help the situation.
