1. I purchase a warranty from this company in 2003. I paid $2200 for the warranty. I paid extra because I have a BMW, and I wanted to be covered just in case something happens. Well, little did I know that I would have been better off just paying for the repairs myself and not the warranty. First I had problems with the Tie rods and control arm bushing and had to be replaced. They stated I can get the car done at any dealer/mechanic of my choice... Wrong. They had me take the car to another mechanic and basically only paid for 1 tie rod. And stated that all other parts were denied at that point, because they were not physically broken (just rusted out). When the dealer told me it was broken and dangerous.

2. When a sensor in my car went out, it took over 4 days to approve the claim and I was surprised they paid. And I could not even get a rental car during that time. So, I was without a car until they found the funds to pay or tried to make me wait it out thinking I would pay for repairs.

3. Lastly, I was driving through Texas going back home to Florida. My car temperature gauge kept indicating the car was overheating. However, it really wasn't overheating the tempuratue gauge was bad and the water pump can go at anytime. So, I called them up and told them what was going on. So, I took it to the dealer because a lot of mechanic will not touch a BMW. When I got to the dealer these were all the things were wrong.

Oil pan Gasket - I paid extra to have seal and gaskets covered.
Tie rods-the part they denied in the past.

They denied the whole claim, when all the parts were covered on the warranty. So, with no choice I have to a least pay for the water pump to get back home. It cost me $585. Everytime I call claims I get a guy name TONY and he is rude. When you tell Tony that you are going to take it to a mechanic he seems very nice, until the mechanic tells him the cars has problems. Then you try calling him and he becomes very rude. Then he will say I will get to your claim in the order it was received. I guess they just want you to sit and wait for 5 hours to tell you your claim was denied.

They will not pay for anything. It will make you more stressed because they are rude and make you feel like you are stupid. When you call and go off on them, they will just keep repeating "it's not a covered part".

I've learned my lesson. The only warranty I will purchase is the factory warranty from the car maker. At least if you have problems they will fix it with no questions, and give you a rental car.
