Sabotaged my car! Ripoff DON'T Trust the MIDAS TOUCH!

Ripoff THEN Sabotaged! *CRIMINALS*

I TOLD Midas that I was in a time crunch and needed my brakes done quickly so to have my car back to be able to make a very important meeting with my area VP (Baltimore driving to D.C.)

Midas had quoted me OVER $1,400.00 to fix just my rear brakes! When I told them I found someone more reasonable, (by $650.00!) they must not have liked that, because they DELIBERATELY STRIPPED a bracket that holds my calipers within the braking system. Then they put them back on.

Make a long story short, my privately owned garage mechanic didn't find this out until he was already well into the job and HAD TO ORDER THE PART THAT MIDAS RUINED ON PURPOSE! He stated that IN NO WAY could this have happened by accident. He further stated that he has personally seen this sabotage from MIDAS before!

They (MIDAS) KNEW my time crunch sitiation and they just didn't care! This cost me time AND money! Not having forseen this, my "good" mechanic couldn't say I see this taking two days because of the part MIDAS Sabotaged, so I didn't have the warning to rent a car.instead I was put in a very bad time crunch and had to take the train from Baltimore to D.C. (switching tracks twice) in addition to taking two cabs, just to get to my meetings.inCREDIBLE added expense and time, THANKS MIDAS!
