Ripoff Did not promise their words

The Newspaper add says they'll get anyone a car regardless of your credit history or bankruptcy. As long as you have steady job, they can get you a car. If they can't get you a car, they will give you $1000.00. That's all a lie. They couldn't finance me even though I make more than $40,000 a year.

That's not all. Not only they failed to keep their words about giving me $1000.00, they didn't even give me my $250.00 on time. I had to drag it out of them.

Here's the full story. When I went to Cortese Mitsubishi Dealership on 12 December I was looking for nice little gas saving car. And I gave them $250.00 where the saleswoman gave me the receipt saying that I can get my money back in ten days if I choose not to purchase or if they couldn't get any banks approval.

Come to find out they've deposited my check and it was cleared from my bank on 14 December. So I waited for about 10 business days and called her back. I asked her if she can give me my money back since they couldn't find any bank to finance me.

She told me that the check was already sent out to me and also told me to wait a couple of days. So I've waited until 26 December. I called her back and she told me the same thing, wait couple of days more because they've already sent the check out to me. I waited until after the New Years on 4 January. I went to their office and she told me the samething.

I told that saleswoman that I will believe her for the last time and it's not going to be pleasant next time I come back. Wll, I went back because the check still wasn't in my mailbox. I went there and I was still calm until the sales manager came out and told me the same old story, "we've already sent it out to you." He made me angry, but I still kept my composure. I simple told him to write me another check.

He said he couldn't do that because of cancelling check fee which was about $30.00. I told him that's your business, not mine. Welll to make long story short, I got my check back with all that hassle and the check that they said that was sent, it's still not here. I was goin g to take it back to them myself.

All I wanted was my deposit back. I didn't even mention about the ad they put in the newspaper.

But guess what, I did finance my car, matter or fact a better car from Hoselton (another dealer).
