Failure to deliver product, eight months overdue

I contracted a custom motorcycle while deployed to Iraq, the contract said that the completion date was 90 days later. I let him know that I would either have to pick it up when I returned, or I would arrange for pickup as soon as it was completed. He agreed that I could pick it up when I returned.

When I get home seven months later, he doesn't have it done. His excuse was he thought I would be home later. He then said it would be ready a week later. A week later it wasn't done, I told him that I wanted a new deadline, and I wanted him to ship it. He agreed to ship it, and asked for a three week deadline because his painter was backed up. Three weeks later there was no bike, I told him I wanted the bike at a discount.

Since then, his communication was spotty, and he never offered a solid timeline or completion date.in the last couple months, he has refused to contact me. I contacted a lawyer who wrote him a letter. It stated if he didn't inform me of a timeline and completion date, I would sue. He wrote back the lawyer, but still no idea what he's doing, or when my bike will be done. It's almost like he want's me to sue!

I know he lost his building after another lawsuit, I understand for the same thing - failure to deliver. Now I understand that he failed to report with MO state, and they've revoked his business licence. Never do business with this guy, he's somewhere else on this site and also has a mile-long list of suits at Greene County Circuit Court. Anybody else who's been ripped off should contact MO state Attorney General, the more complaints the better chance he never does business again.
