Ripoff Beware of Rockenbach Chevrolet tricky dishonest deceptive sales practice when financing a vehicle

We recently needed to purchase a work truck so we decided to head over to this huge dealer, Rockenbach. We made a deal with the salesman and decided on a price then we signed the contract with a 5.9% interest rate which we thought was great and we put the amount that we wanted down. Of course it was too good to be true! A week later they called and asked for alot more money down and they kept on calling and threatened to reposess the vehicle. We later noticed that we had signed a "Rider" which is basically the right for them to cancel the contract at any time. We finally got fed up and after two weeks of the dealer trying to get more money, we were going to return it but then we came to an agreement as far as more money down, they did not mention they would raise the interest rate to 12%. Ofcourse they make it seem like you have the worst credit in the world to justify. They claim they work with 200 banks and noone wants you. They come up with numerous excuses for their bad buisness manner. To justify that they have raised the interest rate they make it seem like they balance out the price. They make adjustments to the price to make it seem like you are getting a deal but in reality that probably was the correct price of the vehicle to begin with. The point is you get lured in to their scam and then you are put in an akward situation where you are basically stuck. They claim you can later refinance with another bank and throw in all this talk.

This company is just horrible. We will never return and we would never recommend for anyone to go there.instead of telling you upfront what the deal is, they rope you up by letting you take home the vehicle and then harass you for more money, then make this huge complicated dilemna and they make it seem like its a peice of cake. We did end up keeping the vehicle for that interest rate and we hope to refinance but I wish they would have been honest upfront so we would have the opportunity to shop around for a better deal. They initially create a deal that does not exist and then after you have had the vehicle for a week or so the true deal comes out. This is the most unproffesional dealer that we have ever dealt with.
