Payments never late harrassing phone calls went to see them in person about $50 dollers they now have my truck illegally it has been repoed

It started when they reduced our payments and its in writing they have gotten all payment on time on both vehicles there was no problems until we traded the van then the harrassing phone calls started we told them we are trying to get everything off our credit report after bankruptcy and so we have done that. Thay said that we were in default of our contract on both vehicles because we traded the van. Then two days later and said we are in good standing. A few days later thay called again and said that the payment on the truck was going from $100. Dollars to $155. Dollar bi-weekly but i told them the check has been sent of $100. Dollars that was the agreement if there were changes it needed to be in writing we never got anything.

We sent the next payment out of $155. Dollars the next week on saturday 12-9-06 they called us and started to harrass on the phone i was not going to take it anymore so i drove to them to have person to person talk. At this time steve said that they do not have to put anything in writing so we called the police in and we talked to jim barker the officer and he had suggested that we consult a lawyer this is a civil matter against them. Basically they took the truck they have it now steve said he is going to see to it goes on our credit report we dont know how to fight this we need help please.
