Acura
Dealer & customer relations ignore complaint

Cars & Transport

I took a trip to DC about 500 miles from Columbia.
My car developed an acute problem - the manual transmission
would not engage a gear without great force.

When I returned to Columbia I took the car to the Acura dealer.
I explained repeatedly I wanted the least service necessary.
Acura replaced two expensive items: clutch cylinders.
As I left the dealer the car was harder to shift and stalling.
Acura made a slight adjustment that helped a bit.

I had to leave to Houston - they knew-.
Clutch got worse - started slipping. Never did that before.
Cottman transmission in Houston adjusted Clutch pedal, car drives fine, and they did not charge!

Cottman says Acura damaged the clutch with their improper work.
I believe they damaged my clutch. All they wanted was to replace the clutch - very expensive. But it was not needed.
Dealer and Acura customer relations have ignored my complaint.
Cottman will explain his findings.
Thank You
