Aamco Transmissions
Ripoff just couldnt get it right

Took suburban to Aamco for a new transmission. Bought the lifetime warranty on tranmission. To make a long story short they had to replace transmission 6 times in 14 months. When I told them I wanted my money back to go else where because they just could not seem to do the job right. I was told that it was my fault because of the size of my tires.

After getting several letters from other tranny shops stating that. The sixe of my tires had nothing to do with it. (they were 33's). I took my suburban to the dealer and had them put a crate tranny in. I then reported Aamco the bureau of automotive repair. (They were fined for several things). I then filed a lawsuit in small claims court. And prevailed.

Aamco's comeback was that they didnt have to pay because I broke the contract that I signed with them.By taking the truck to another place for repairs. The Judge laughed at the owner and said well I would have taken it someplace else to you just can't seem to get it right. Hope this information can help some of you.
