My car was in an accident, the frame was bent. Granno Collision said they would straighten the frame for $1000. We agreed to that and nothing else.
When we went back several weeks later, they had torn a bunch of stuff off the car, done work we hadn't agreed to and said the bill was $3500. The car only cost $2500 to begin with!
We did not agree to the extra repairs. They said they would finish fixing the car and sell it for us and give us the $1500 we owed to the bank and they would keep the rest.
So far, they have sent us $500 and that's it. We know they sold the car for $4000. I think this is a normal scam for them.
Beware.
