Ripoff changes dates without notice colorado

I am so glad and angry to find that I am not the only one who has problems with Centrix. I purchased a car back in March. Centrix agreed to pick up financing. The payment due date was set for the 31st of the month and on the 30 there after unless it's February, then the 28th. This was clearly laid out in the contract. I asked for that specific date so that all my bills would not be due at the same time of the month. Centrix obvisouly agreed, otherwise they would not have accepted the contract. I made my payment.

April comes and I get a phone call informing me that my payment was late (the 30th wasn't even close) I asked how could this be because my payment is due on the 30th of the month. I was told that they do not accept payment after the 22nd of the month and that they "pushed" my payment ahead to the 6th of the month to give me 5 more days. Well, that didn't do anything for me because I was NEVER notified that the payment date was changing, I was NEVER sent a new contract to sign agreeing to the change. I told the rep that I was not going to pay it until it was due and hung up. I received calls thereafter, but I did not answer them because I was not in violation of my contract.

Fastforward to this year and I began getting phone calls on the 10th of the month (four days after the "new" payment due date) and was told that my payment was late and I needed to make arrangements. I told the rep that my contract stated that my payment date is for the 30th of the month and I would make my payment then. I was told that it wasn't their fault that I couldn't pay my bills, and I needed to borrow money from my friends and pay it or they would come and take my car. I reiterated again that I was not late. I was told that they had the right to change my payment date at any time and that this was in my contract. I made the arrangements and got off the phone. I read my contract 4 times an NOWHERE does it state that they have the right to change the date.

I called Centrix back and requested copies of everything that was in my file, including a copy of the signed contract. Guess what, they have the EXACT same contract that I have and nowhere does it give them the right to change the date.

I have been round and round with this company because if their policy is correct, I have been late since DAY ONE and I am extremely angered by this. I especially don't like to condescending tone from the reps, especially if you sit back and think about it, they probably aren't making more than $12 an hour anyway, so it's highly likely that they have bills they haven't paid on time either or paid at all.

Centrix Financial needs to be held responsible for their unsound dealings and unprofessional employess.
