Failure to Honor Warranty ripoff

We recently filed a claim under our extended warranty with Heritage for a fuel filter canister assembly. Heritage has denied the claim because they don't cover "fuel filters". Our attempts and the repeated attempts of our dealership to explain the difference between the canister assembly and the "fuel filter" have fallen on deaf ears.

We have wasted two (2) weeks while they consider our claim. I have retained legal counsel but I am interested in contacting others who have experienced denial of claims from Heritage or their subsidiaries.

We plan to also investigate if there have been other complaints filed with the Better Business Bureau and the State Insurance Boards.

There is strength in numbers. Please let me hear from you if you have had a similar experience with this company.
