Deceptive Sales Practices

We had a horrible experience with this dealership. First, they sold us a $4000 used car that needed $5000 worth of work. When we complained, they offered to exchange it for another vehicle and give us a full $4000 credit. They were very nice that day... They even let us take the 2nd car as a loaner so we could get it checked out by our own mechanic.

Well, our mechanic found many, many major problems with the 2nd car!!! So, when we returned, livid this time, they promised to do right by us and told us to come back next week and they would have 2 or 3 extra special cars for us to choose from.

We went back, they had 1 old Bonneville that we didn't like. Finally we chose an '03 Impala that looked good and, mind you, was $7000 more than we orignally planned to spend. Well, they wrote out a deal (after we talked them down $1000 because their advertised iternet price was much cheaper than what they quoted us at the dealership).

This deal included $4000 off for the original car. Our mechanic checked out the car the next day, found only (ONLY!!??) an $800 steering problem and we returned to Grossinger to finalize the deal. Jody A* (ROR REDACTED FOR SECURITY PURPOSES) would not honor the previous day's deal and also wouldn't help fix the steering problem! He said "go ahead, go to another dealer and see what they'll give you for the original car"... This man is a soulless jerk who will, if there is a God, be paid back some day. What goes around, comes around.

Do not go to this dealership! They are liars and cheats and will use any tactics they can to rip you off!!!
