I took my Truck into kwik kar to have the oil changed and to have it inspected. I left the truck with them and returned to pick it up about an hour later. I was informed that it had an exaust leak and it would not pass inspection but that the oil and filters had been changed. So i took the truck up the street to a muffler shop to have the exaust leak fixed and then returned to kwik car. They inspected the truck and i drove home.

The next morning I got up and drove it four blocks to a convinience store right across from kwik kar and back home. About an hour later My girlfriends son did the same. Then about an hour later Got into the Truck and started it up and it started makeing a loud banging noise. I shut the truck off opened the hood. I pulled the Dip stick on the oil to find there was no oil in the truck. It was sunday so i had to wait till monday morning to get intouch with someone from kwik kar.

I was needless to say very upset went into Kwik kar on my lunch break and talked to who i thought was the manager and explained to him that there had not been any oil put in my truck and that there was a problem with my motor and he offered to have it towed back to his facility and if they hadn't put oil in my truck that the motor would be replaced. So I left to go back to work about two hours later I recieved a call from the general manager and he told me that his techs did put oil in my truck and that if they hadnt it wouldnt have made it out of his station without makeing noise. He also said that they put some kind of Tamper proof seal on the drain plug and that it had been broken and accused me of draining the oil on my own truck. So i am in the proccess of getting a lawyer to file suite against Kwik Kar. Unfortunately being that the Truck was my only Form of Transportation i am currently haveing to figure out how to get to and from work. I see That i am Not the only person that has had Problems with this particular Kwik Kar. So in my opinion if you are planning on useing this particular kwik car when you get done Take it to another mechanich to make sure the work you had done was done.
