Ron Baker Chevrolet-Izuzu took advantage of my situation. I was in to sell me an unsafe vehicle that shouldn't be recommended to a 73 year old woman with disabilities.

I had cosigned for a Chevy truck with a friend & he started drinking. He was on my insurance & I had to get him off. I was co-owner & the dealer suggested I trade the truck in on another vehicle. I needed a station wagon & was told they (Chevrolet) do not make them anymore. I saw the Izuzu Rodeo & asked about it. It was the nearest I saw to a station wagon.

I drove it & it seemed to be okay. Less than 2 weeks later it began rocking the front from side to side on certain bumps & roads even at low speeds. I took it back & they said it had 47 #'s of air in the tires. They never let the air out the factory put in it for transportation before they delivered it to me. It was some better after they put the proper amount of air in the tires.

It started getting worse & the answer I got from the dealer was that was normal & I would have to get used to driving it. Yesterday evening I was driving home from work at 60 miles an hour. I had to hit the brakes & it started fish tailing. I am a 73 year old frail woman with disabilities. The more I drive this vehicle the worse it gets & I am afraid to drive it.

This dealer should have tried to put me in a vehicle more suitable for an older person. I need a station wagon or SUV because of my dog. I have to put his crate in it to take him to the vet. I tried to trade this vehicle in. I owe $30,000. It wholesales at $15,000.00.

The Chevy is a more stable auto and safer. I don't know what to do. I can't afford a $15,000.00 loss. I have already taken a $5,000.00 loss on the truck. This will be my last car. I have cancer in both breasts, arthritis and one lung is paralyzed. It takes all of my Social Security check to make the payments.
