I discovered a debit of $21.95 from my checking account on May 9. I have never heard of the company Roadside Plus. I never signed up for any sort of roadside service, as I already have it. I have called the company ten times. They say I will not be debited again but that they cannot refund my money. I have asked repeatedly for someone other than the person answering the phone. I have been told the supervisors do not take these calls. After being persistent, they hang up on me. What can I do? They assure me no other debits will take place and even gave me a confirmation number to cancel; however, I cannot seem to get anywhere with them regarding putting the money back into my account. I went so far as to tell them I had found fraud alerts on the internet about them and would be filing complaints of my own... Nothing worked. HELP!!!
