Employee caught changing oil and NOT the filter in the Tire, Lube Express Dept. Ripoff

I went to my local Wal-Mart to have my oil changed. I walked into the after giving the information to the attendant outside. I wa in the store for a maximun of 7 minutes and they called over the intercom that my car was ready, I called them and said, "You must be mistaken I just walked into the store and my car cannot be ready yet", they insisted that it was done.

I then go back to the Lube Express dept and asked to see the manager because i felt like they could not change my oil and filter in 7 minutes, once again they insisted that the job was completed and they even went outside with me to show me that I had clean oil in the car, I asked the technician if he cahnged the filiter, he said "YES MA'AM"! I told him that I would have this double checked.

I took my car to the Nissan Dealership to have them look at it and the guy took a flashlight and looked in the engine and told me that my oil filer looked very dusty on the outside! BACK to Wal-Mart I went! The manager changed the oil again and I demananded to see the filter they pulled out of my car and there it was NASTY, FILTHY, DIRTY and NEVER CHANGED! The staff was stunned and I said "YOU GUYS ARE SO BUSTED". The manager, Glenn apologized gave me a refund, and was totally embarrased.

I am still not happy about this, I'm sure that this OIL DRAINING scam is happening DAILY! I called the home office in Arkansas to report them and the operator was even stunned!

The moral of the story is faster is NOT always better! Watch them!!
