Ripoff ridiculous qoutes for unneeded work

I went in for the so called $99 special for four wheels and twenty minutes later the manager called me over and started talking all this technical jargon about how I needed 2 possibly four new rotors new calipers and the system needed bled. Also he said I needed some other hardware. All this for a 2003 pontiac Grand Am with 29000 miles on it. He qouted me about $500 first then tried to talk like he was trying to help me out and said he could save the front rotors and now it would be $300. What a scam. I preceded to tell him to put everything back on and I would take it elsewhere. Thank god. I took it to a reputable mechanic and he said nothing was wrong other than my front pads needed replaced. My back pads were still good! I ended up spending $88 plus tax for everything plus piece of mind. Do not go to just brakes for any reason, maybe if we can spread the word people will stop going there and put them out of business!!!
