I bought a 1996 eclipse from Pelican Auto Sales. It was a crap car, but I needed it. They said that they would fix the things that I said needed to be fixed if I bought it. I. E no passenger door handle, driver side door panel, and seat. Well they fixed the seat. Then my driver side door handle broke. Knowing that it wasn't something that was there responsiblity I let it go. So I told them to please fix my passenger side so I could at least get in my car. They did look at my driver side handle out of courtsy I guess. But they broke that one. SO then they had to fix it. I took my car to get it fixed 4 months after I bought it! The first excuse was that no one would sell them just the handle. I called a local junk yard and they said they had brand new handles. So they finally go the handles in. They told me that it would take about 30 minutes to fix. My car was there for 4 days. When I finally came to pick up my car they said it still wasn't ready. They also said that I was behind in payments. Which I thought was complete bs because how can I be 300 dollars behind when I only pay 200 a month and had made last months payment? So I made up all my behind payments just so I could be straight with them. Then they still wouldn't give me my car. Actually they blocked it in. Then they owner comes out and tells me that I have to payoff him 1200 in 10 days or I won't get my car. Grantedm the 1200 dollars is the remainder on the car so he says, but I had only had the car for 4 months and the total price was 3000. Also when I took my car to get fix, they stole all of my receipts from my glove box. The only receipts that weren't stole were for my tax and title. Don"t buy from pelican auto. They are a shady bunch of spanish!!!
