Ripoff never shipped product, won't return emails and no phone numbe

In April Me and several others ordered a $575 part for our bmw's. This was a group buy on the website known as z4um.com.

The product we ordered was a cold air intake (cai). These were to be shipped within 3 weeks. Jay Crouch, president of Streamline Engineering accepted our payments thru paypal.

After 3 weeks went by, no one had received their cai. 4 Weeks and still no cai. After emailing him and getting excuses it was revealed to us that his father was ill and did end up dying.

Everyone understood... Until after months went by and nothing. Some people were fortunate to get their funds back thru paypal due to they filed before the 90 day deadline. Now is where the lies and deception comes into play.

People were given false tracking numbers by Jay Crouch. He has his phone cut off and no one could reach him. He did not respond to emails and did not post any updates on the website. He disappeared. Finally after some nasty comments he resurfaced and apologized for his actions. Everyone got excited again. He was to ship out these parts soon. It never happened and he went back into hiding.

Finally another member of z4um who lived fairly close to him was able to contact him. This other member was able to ship out most of the cai's but not all of them. The ones he did ship was incomplete though. A mounting bracket was not included but needed for proper installation.

In December 05 I emailed Jay Crouch and stated he had enough time to rectify this matter and that he had until Jan. 1 06 to get me my cai or my money. No response until Dec. 31 05 when emailed me and the other remaining people who had not received anything that we paid for. He was to ship our cai's before Jan. 31. That has never happened and now no responses from him.

We have paid for our product and received nothing. The ones who received their cai still need the mounting bracket. Jay Crouch has moved and changed his phone number and will not respond to anybodies emails. He is selling other products now on another website but it through someone else's name and he will not disclose Jay's whereabouts. What a rip-off!!!
