American Metal Works
Amw ripped off, stole my rim, closed up doors, left with nothing

Cars & Transport

In August of I MARK, the owner of (name deleted - see below) ordered a set of AMERICAN METAL WORKS rims for my 2004 SUZUKI GSXR 1000 the rear rim was a 18" x 8.5" for a 240 rear tire conversion. We ordered the rims and received in a timely fashion, during the following months the rims kept wearing out wheel bearings.

We called about the problem and were advised to sent the rim back to the company for warranty since there was a 2 year warranty on the rims we purchased we sent them back via UPS tracking #1Z9RT4910399620822. The wheels were shipped 11/7/05, and were received on 11/11/05 by AMW signed for by RODILLO.

We started calling them within 1 week to verify shipment reciept, which was confirmed and we were told a new wheel would be shipped to us. That is the last correspondance we received.

We left message after message, email after email, we even got hold of the owners cell phone # which was promptly changed after we called to inquire where the wheel I spent $1300 was.

So here I am after spending $2k on rims, we are stuck having to pay another $2k for another set of rims.
