Wheel Pros These wheels started rusting after 2 years and now after 5 years look pathetic

I purchased American Racing's Sniper Wheels on 7-13-04 and paid $176.19 each. After two years, they started to rust and now look rather pathetic. I used these rims only during the summer months and my original Camaro wheels during the winter months, so these rims never saw salt. I also regularly polished them with Mother's chrome polish, but can no longer polish the insides of the rims because the rust is so bad that any rag I use woukd be shredded. This year the rust has gotten extremely bad on the insides of the rims. I contacted them about this is their response:
