First Extended Warranty
Denied coverage for transmission after nearly two years of paying for service In Ripoff Las Vegas Nevada

Cars & Transport

I have been a policy holder for nearly two years now, and the time i needed my policy to work most, is when First Extended denied coverage of my damages without thought. Of course the transmission was covered within my policy, but a simple part called the transmission coolant line was not. My transmission fluid leaked through this line dumping out all my transmission fluid within one day, causing my transmission to eventually fail. This metal tube could not cost more than fifty dollars, but is certianly a critical part of the transmisson system, since it keeps the transmission fluid cool, preventing the transmission to overheat and burn out. First Extended advised the auto shop to diagnose the situation and found that since this part of the transmission failed, and it is not specifically listed in the contract, they do not have to cover the damages as well as the diagnostic fees. Even after advising the mechanics to diagnose the problem. Needles to say, i'm paying off a loan on a 2001 Chevy Monte Carlo that is immobile and untradeable as well as the rest of my contract with this company. Thanks First Extended Warranty
